The Kiss of Deception - Mary E. Pearson

A well paced and enjoyable novel. I really, really liked this book :)

This has been on my shelf for a while, to be honest I don't even know why I decided to read it, but I sure am glad I did.

I don't usually like love triangles very much because usually it seems very clear from the beginning who the main character is going to pick (e.g. Bella- Edward vs. Jacob). They are also usually extremely awkward and full of toxic masculinity...

But this one was well written (and entertaining).

Plot wise, the novel was good.

If I had to critique one aspect of this novel it would be the chosen one thing. Unfortunately, this is very common in YA books.

But everything else compensates :)

Such as the characters, the setting, the plot, etc.

Recommend this one highly!
